Believe it or not, we first opened our doors in 1984 and are one of the longest established Salon's in Bristol – with over 30 years of experience we have clients travelling from across the South West, and further afield, for our hairdressing magic!

MEET THE TEAM

Shaun Nicolas,
Founder & Salon Director

From the age of 16, Shaun knew that hair was for him. Starting out, as all the best hairdressers do, as a Saturday boy in a local salon. From Saturday boy to training at Vidal Sassoon, Shaun soon found that he had a natural talent for passing on his knowledge.

Shaun and his team are renowned for their client-centred approach, high standards of service, innovative and creative hair design. Training is at the heart of Shaun's hairdressing philosophy and he runs a comprehensive in-house training programme for all the stylists at MAXIMUM FX.

Away from the salon Shaun enjoys exploring the many fine culinary establishments that Bristol has to offer, not to mention those further afield both in the UK and abroad. If you're looking for some top tips on where to show off your new style, Shaun will know just the place!
